Ino's eyes reddened with worry.
"Is it serious?"
"Are any bones broken?"
"Should we take her to the hospital immediately?"
"No fractures."
Yaonai quickly made her assessment.
"It's just a minor bone concussion."
"The recoil from earlier injured her arm. She'll recover after resting for a while."
Only then did Ino let out a breath of relief.
But Sakura was still in too much pain to lift her right hand.
Yaonai looked at Ino.
"Help her sit down over there first."
"Don't move the injured arm anymore. Apply medicine and let her rest."
She rose to her feet and turned toward the heavy gate made of seven layers of Sunken Gold Iron.
"Next, I'll open it myself."
Luna walked up to the third Sunken Gold Iron Gate, raised both hands, and pressed her palms firmly against its cold surface.
Sakura sat on the stone steps nearby, her right arm still throbbing faintly.
Ino supported her, but her gaze remained fixed on Luna.
"You're really going to push open the third gate?"
Ino looked at the layers of seams embedded in the enormous gate, still finding it hard to believe.
"That's sixteen tons!"
"To be precise, eight tons on each side."
Luna corrected her without turning around.
Enduring the pain in her arm, Sakura hurriedly said, "Forget it if you can't do it."
"We only came here to see Sasuke. There's no need for you to force yourself."
"Force myself?"
Luna turned her head slightly, her brows shooting up.
As the top girl at the Ninja Academy, she could lose to her brother, and she could lose to those true Temple powerhouses within the clan.
But if she could not even push open the third gate in front of Sakura and Ino, how would she keep her standing at the academy
