Venom and Eddie stiffened at the same time. "You're not thinking of having us fully merge, are you?"

Xiao Han snapped his fingers. "Then fake your deaths."

Venom shook its head frantically. "That's way too risky! What if it goes wrong?!"

Xiao Han shrugged and gave them a reassuring look. "Relax. With me here, I guarantee you won't die."

Diana watched the scene and smiled. "Sounds interesting."

Venom's white eyes darted back and forth between Xiao Han and Diana before drooping in despair.

Eddie looked utterly lifeless. "I knew it. Nothing good ever comes from running into superheroes."

"Don't be so pessimistic."

Xiao Han placed a hand on Eddie's shoulder, and a flash of golden light appeared.

"I've already left an energy barrier inside you. Even if Venom fully possesses you and you die, it will be enough to block Knull's senses."
