Xiao Han's villa beach

Golden sunlight spilled across the private beach, and blue waves lapped gently at the shore.

Three lounge chairs stood in a row. Kara, Diana, and Koo Ja-yoon lay sprawled across them, enjoying the afternoon warmth.

Their perfect figures, outlined by bikinis, were breathtaking.

Kara wore sunglasses. Her body glimmered faintly in the sunlight; she was clearly absorbing energy every moment.

She took a bite of ice cream and spoke through it.

"Wanda's energy is getting stronger again."

Diana rested one hand behind her head and held an ancient book in the other. At Kara's words, she looked into the distance.

"There's no telling how powerful Chaos Magic can become, especially now that she's absorbed Chthon's essence."

Koo Ja-yoon ate a potato chip, then narrowed her eyes as the sea breeze brushed her skin.

"Xiao Han said she hasn't reached her full potential yet. What will she be like when she does?"

A little farther away, where the beach met the waves

Wanda floated half a meter above the ground, legs crossed, red energy burning around her like flames.

Her pupils had turned entirely crimson. Her hair whipped wildly in the surge of Chaos Magic, and the air around her rippled as the energy distorted it.

Xiao Han stood before her, hands in the pockets of his swim trunks, watching the violent currents of energy swirling around Wanda.

They were testing Wanda's power.

After the incident with Chthon, her Chaos Magic had grown to an almost immeasurable level.

And it was still growing.

The other ancient gods had sealed Chthon away, but that did not mean he was weak.

He and Wanda were both vessels for Chaos Magic. The difference was that he had absorbed it for years, while she had not had nearly as long.
