There was a pope and Beyonder organizations, but one thing set it apart from the other churches.

Sifa chuckled. "Are these meant to correspond to the Nightwatchers and Red Gloves?"
Katarina nodded. "The Punishers consist of mid- and low-sequence Beyonders. They will be more numerous and handle relatively simple incidents."
"The Justiciars consist of Beyonders who are at least Sequence 5. They will be a small organization made up entirely of elites."
Sifa nodded. "Not bad, but names like Punishers and Justiciars don't sound particularly fitting for the theme of war."
"War is about iron and blood. Change the Punishers to Black Knights, and the Justiciars to Blood Knights."
"As you wish," Katarina said gladly.

A knock sounded at the door.
After receiving Sifa's permission, a limping pirate walked in.
He was a crew member of the Celeste. He removed his hat, revealing a head with part of the skull exposed.
Trembling, he said to Sifa, "Your Highness, our captain would like to see you."
His captain was, of course, Abrio.
Abrio had spent this time beneath the Hall of Desire, studying the mausoleum built during the Balam era and the entrance to its third level.
