Clink, clink, clank.
The gold coins first struck Morton, then fell to the floor one by one.
Morton's expression changed repeatedly.
The nearby Intis people did not look too pleased either.
Sifa said with a grin, "Not enough?"
"Then how about 100 pounds?"
He took out a bag made of black velvet and poured out the gold coins inside.
Clatter.
The coins piled up on the bar counter into a tiny mountain of gold.
Under the lights, their glittering golden gleam left many people staring wide-eyed.
Morton panted heavily, like a volcano on the verge of erupting.
Sheryl hurriedly linked her arm through Sifa's and said, "Mr. William, I know another bar that's interesting too. Let's go somewhere else and keep talking."
Sifa did not object, but he still glanced at Morton. Then his gaze swept back and forth over Sheryl's chest before he shrugged and gave Morton a mocking smile.
Although he had not said a word, those few simple gestures completely ignited Morton's rage.
The man who had just returned from the battlefield roared, shoved Sheryl aside, grabbed Sifa by the shoulders, and gritted his teeth. "Perhaps I should throw you out of here!"
Sifa remained unmoved. "If you don't want to get hurt, you'd better let go of me."
"Go to hell, Loen bastard." Morton was about to throw Sifa out of the bar.
Suddenly.
Everyone saw several waves of flame spread from Morton's chest.
With a bang, Morton's fairly large body was sent flying. He knocked over several tables and crashed to the floor.
Flames danced across his chest, blackening and burning through his suit and shirt.
When the people looked back at Sifa, they saw an orange fireball the size of a fist floating above his hand.
Sifa smiled. "See? I warned you."
"A Beyonder."
