Inside the Golden Palace, the Evil Spirit Freeman would occasionally glance toward the base of the Skull Throne.

The Evil Spirit flickered from the palace beams to the side of a skeleton, blinking about constantly. Clearly, his feelings were complicated.

The Evil Spirit was briefly bewildered before quickly recovering. "Nothing, Your Highness."
"I was waiting for you to return."
"Did you get Death's Scepter?"
Sifa shook his head. "Not yet. It won't be that easy."
After saying that.
He stopped wasting words on the Evil Spirit and once again transformed into an invisible wind, passing through every gap and crevice to reach the underground area.
Only after arriving underground did he reappear.
Sifa saw Phantoms and strange creatures from the Underworld and Spirit World rushing toward him.
Clearly, the puppet holding Death's Scepter had prepared in advance.

After that wave of fire cleared away some of the "slaves" released by Death's Scepter, Sifa made no further move.
