"Good afternoon, Melissa."
Sifa handed the prepared bouquet to the girl. Out of courtesy, Melissa, who seemed rather dispirited, still accepted the flowers and thanked him.
"Please come in. Would you like tea or coffee?"
After entering through the front door, Sifa saw a relatively spacious area. A set of upholstered sofas basked in the brilliant afternoon sunlight.
Melissa placed the flowers in a vase in the corner, then looked toward Sifa.
"Black tea will do." Sifa sat down on the sofa, looking around and taking in the place where Klein had once lived. He felt something strange in his heart.
While Melissa went to make the tea, Sifa habitually surveyed his surroundings. He noticed that the house had an open layout, with no partition at all between the dining room and living room.
A modest red rectangular wooden table stood in the dining room, surrounded by hard-backed chairs with cushions. There was also a fireplace.

"Mr. Sifa, your black tea."
A familiar voice rang out. The black-haired girl carried two cups of tea into the living room and placed one in front of Sifa.
Sifa picked up the tea and smiled. "Actually, I came this afternoon because I wanted to ask you for a favor."
The girl's dull eyes glanced at him. "What is it?"
"It's like this." Sifa took a small sip of black tea and swallowed the fragrant liquid before continuing, "I want to make a container that can store gas. It doesn't need to be large—ideally, it should fit in one hand."
"But storing gas is only one of its functions. I also hope that, whenever I need it, the container can draw in outside air at any time and place, mixing it with the gas already inside."
