Spirit World Treasure Chest

Sifa tossed Lady Lucia's note into a street trash can, then took a public carriage back to the Violet Hotel.

He had already removed his disguise. He hurried inside, drew the curtains, took off his coat, and laid everything he had prepared on the table.

There was a finely crafted wooden chest, one hundred gleaming gold coins, a Clown Beyonder Characteristic, and the Spirituality Crystal he had obtained from Kalina Manor the night before.

Once everything was ready, Sifa steadied his breathing and calmed his mind. He recited the incantation with the prescribed gestures, summoning the Book of Mysteries.

A moment later, he saw the sheer curtain billowing beside the window go still. In his hands rested the heavy book that had changed his fate.

Sifa was in no hurry to create the treasure chest. He first turned to the Message Board to see whether the Watchers had left any new information.

"Sothoth: Forsaken Land of the Gods, City of Silver, ***, 'Chernobyl.'"

That's brief.

I know the City of Silver. Isn't that where Mr. Sun lives? Oh, is this Watcher warning me that these places are dangerous?
