After hearing Sifa's words, the Sun became visibly uneasy, growing tense and fearful.
Noticing his concern, Alger, the Hanged Man, gave a short chuckle. "Although Mr. Chariot is right, you don't need to worry too much."
"Since you've been in contact with Amon, even if he discovers you praying to some hidden existence, his suspicions will only turn toward Amon."
"He'll suspect that you've been possessed and corrupted by him, but he probably won't think of the Tarot Club. So you still have time to resolve this problem gradually."
Unexpectedly, after calming down a little, the Sun said, "At the time, I really was possessed by Amon."
"What!"
Several members of the Tarot Club cried out at once. Sifa nearly sprang from his seat and hurled a Fireball over.
The others instantly tensed as well. Only the World remained gloomy, though he showed surprise.
The Sun hadn't expected a single remark to make everyone so nervous. He hurriedly added, "Mr. Fool discovered this during my prayers, and he has already resolved the matter."
Next, he conjured the scene Mr. Fool had transmitted to him: Amon, wearing a pointed black hat and a crystal monocle, was wrapped ethereally around his spirit body like the ghost of a python.
He also explained that Mr. Fool had taught him a ritual, through which he had sent his angel to purify Amon's avatar.
Both the terrifying, python-like Amon and the fact that Mr. Fool had actually dispatched an angel to purify Amon's avatar left the Tarot Club members shaken.
Sifa's thoughts went further.
Klein already has an angel? The Watchers did say that Mr. Fool had angels serving him, and even gave them some nickname about "the old, weak, sick, and disabled."
*But Klein shouldn't have an angel yet at this point. Hmm, the
