It was quite a while before Danitz finally closed his mouth. His scorched-yellow eyebrows rose as the great pirate with a bounty of three thousand pounds said indignantly, "This joke isn't funny at all."
Then he stormed back to the cabin by himself, as if Sifa had played a trick on him.
Sifa touched his nose and offered no explanation.
He returned to his room and prepared the money and items he would need for that night's outing.
Then he noticed the Pressure Bottles set aside nearby and casually took two with him.
After dinner, Sifa gathered on the deck. Along the way, Danitz was rather curious about the Pressure Bottles tied to his belt, but held himself back from asking.
Seeing that the captain had not arrived yet, Sifa said, "If you want to ask something, just say it."
Danitz looked toward the other side of the ship. "Nothing to ask. I just think you're strange. Why are you bringing alcohol to a pirate gathering?"
"These aren't wine bottles."
"They can be considered weapons."
Sifa picked up a cloak and draped it over himself, concealing the Pressure Bottles hanging from his belt.
Just as Danitz was about to ask what kind of weapon they were, Edwina and Jodson arrived. Jodson was dressed formally today, wearing a half-height silk top hat and a flower bow tie. He looked like a gentleman headed for a party.
Danitz clicked his tongue. "Where does he think he's going? That canned wolffish only knows how to seize every chance to show off. Hasn't he noticed that the captain doesn't even spare him a glance?"
Edwina walked over, her clear gaze sweeping over Danitz. "What are you talking about?"
The Fourth Sailor hurriedly waved his hands. "Nothing, Captain."
The Iceberg Admiral did not pursue the
