Jodson stepped forward with a charming smile. "That's exactly what we intend to do. It's getting late, though, so we'll probably have to wait until tomorrow to take you back."

"But we do have a question."

Flower Bow Tie glanced at the Iceberg Admiral. Only after she gave a slight nod did he ask, "Mr. Harry, if you're a clockmaker, I'm very curious about where you got that rune-inscribed dagger."

Harry Parker shifted backward a little, looking nervous, before replying, "A gentleman gave it to me. I don't know where he came from, but he collapsed near my clock shop."

"I saved him, and he gave me the knife. He said I could sell it if I ever needed money urgently, and that it would fetch at least four hundred pounds."

"He told me what the knife could do and what its drawbacks were. He also stressed that I could only sell it at a gathering like the one earlier."

Then he certainly didn't remind you not to sell it at a gathering of pirates. Sifa touched his nose and asked, "What's that gentleman's name? Is he still in Glen Town?"
