After ending his mysterious communication with Tracy, the pirate with the yellowish-brown beard quickly put away the box containing the black paste, placing it in a chest along with the mirror.
Then he pushed a table aside and lifted several floorboards beneath it, revealing a hidden compartment.
The pirate hid the chest in the compartment, replaced the floorboards and table, then dusted off his hands, stood up, and left the room.
That was the last scene Christie showed him.
