After bidding farewell to the Golden Dream the previous night, he and Ken Angus had returned to Sonia Island. The captain of the Wavebreaker had left overnight. Next, Xifa would assist the Iceberg Admiral in drawing the pirates' attention while secretly protecting the Golden Dream.
Since Xifa had already visited the temporary base on the eastern side of Sonia Island and had a fairly deep understanding of the whole matter, Ken Angus had him remain on the island and wait for Navy Admiral Amyrius Rieveldt's arrival, so he could provide assistance or appropriate advice.
Thinking that he was about to meet a kingdom admiral, the highest naval commander in the Central Sonia Sea, Xifa could not help feeling excited. Since transmigrating, this would be the first major figure at the pinnacle of the Loen Kingdom's power structure that he had encountered.
But even if he did not make contact today, he would have to deal with such important people eventually—unless he did not wish to continue down his current Road, unless he could not become a High Sequence Beyonder.

Mark raised a hand to order breakfast, then picked up a newspaper. A low voice sounded from behind it. "Come to the docks at three this afternoon. There's a meeting you need to attend."
