Looking at the three question marks in the diary, Sifa could sense the writer's confusion, even fear. Anyone who woke up the next day to find themselves in a locked room would probably be unable to remain calm.
He continued flipping through it. The next few pages contained nothing of much "value." At that time, Mr. Hadi's father should have been young. In the diary, he expressed his affection for a certain girl but did not dare act on it. In the end, some "bastard" beat him to it.
Sifa turned another page.
"June 11th. Perhaps, perhaps I am someone special. I have a different kind of talent. Today, on the day summer is about to arrive, I froze the water in my cup. Yes, the cup is still beside me, and I can still see the white frost forming around its rim.
Haha, maybe I can become a Magician."
"June 20th. Today, I made that damned Tony take a fall. I don't know how I did it. I only wanted that hateful guy to make a fool of himself, but he suddenly slipped. His brand-new, expensive clothes were covered in mud and filth. It was so satisfying!"
Sifa frowned slightly.
Freezing water and making people fall? It seemed that Mr. Hadi's father had grasped some mysterious abilities.
Could he be a Beyonder? Yet judging from the diary, he did not seem to have become one by consuming a potion.
Could he be Miss Marnia's child? Had he inherited some traits from his mother and thus become a natural-born Beyonder, like Belle?
With those questions in mind, Sifa continued reading.
But the following diary entries were merely ordinary records, with nothing particularly noteworthy.
It was not until Sifa had read through more than half the diary that a passage worthy
