In the captain's cabin, brilliant starlight formed mysterious, enormous symbols that spread around Sifa. Hymns drifting in from somewhere echoed through the space, bathing it in a sacred aura.

Wounds continuously appeared across Sifa's body, each one deep enough to expose bone. Yet whenever a wound emerged, countless flickering stars gathered and poured into it, repairing it in an instant.

This repeated over and over.

Sifa outlined the Book of Mysteries in his mind, using meditation together with the hymns constantly reaching his ears to soothe the Affliction within and around his body.

Sifa smiled faintly.

Through his own experimentation and the knowledge gained from the potion, Sifa had basically grasped the Reaper's specialties and specific abilities.

A Reaper excelled at discovering a prey's weaknesses. They could identify a target's weak points from a mystical perspective—that was, the weakest parts of its defenses. Moreover, a Reaper could strike those weak points with precision, inflicting terrifying damage far beyond normal limits.

Every kind of creature had one weakness or another. Naturally, they would conceal and protect them.

A Reaper could uncover those weaknesses and launch effective precision attacks, killing or wounding opponents
