Spreading yogurt on his bread, Sifa said, "Please notify headquarters that I've fully mastered the Pyromaniac potion. I'd like to apply for advancement."
O'Neill looked at Sifa in surprise, then nodded repeatedly. "Yes, Captain. I'll take care of it right away. We have a telegraph on board."
Sifa pressed a hand to his shoulder. "Finish your breakfast first, Mr. O'Neill. You're entitled to that."
He could have applied for advancement after thwarting the Feysac Empire's surprise attack on Pritz Harbor, but he had delayed until now, trying to make his time as a Pyromaniac seem longer and more normal.
Of course, he knew that many Beyonders often remained at the middle Sequences for years. Besides the difficulty of gathering advancement ingredients, they had never mastered the Acting Method and thus could not digest their potions quickly.
