When Sifa used Fireball to attack the black-armored knight, the ascetic beside him trembled all over, his face filled with terror.
"Lord, please save Your believer and spare him from disaster."
"We can't win. We can't win. We're all going to be captured."
Sifa had no time to pay attention to the ascetic, who had already been scared out of his wits. As he hurled Fireballs, he slipped a Flame Spear among them and used Conspiracy to conceal it, mixing it with the many Fireballs so his opponent would not notice.
However, the storm raised by the black-armored knight's sword was nearly impenetrable. Although he had not noticed the spear, the storm carried by the sword light still intercepted it and detonated it.
Boom!
The Flame Spear's explosion was far more powerful than an ordinary Fireball. The expanding flames immediately blasted the black-armored knight backward, shattering the surrounding debris into powder and creating a scorching blast wave that howled outward.
But at that moment, the black-armored knight suddenly charged out of the flames. With a single stride, he nearly reached Sifa. His pitch-black straight sword became a streak of light and cleaved straight at Sifa's face, slicing into his body.
Sifa's figure suddenly thinned, turning into a paper effigy split apart by the blade. It swayed in the air before the following sword light tore it to pieces.
In the distant flames, Sifa's figure emerged. He immediately flashed out the door without hesitation, paying no attention to the ascetic swordsman in the short linen robe.
The Black Knight dragged his sword as he tried to pursue, but suddenly lost control of both legs. His heavy body crashed to the ground. Like a newborn infant, he could not control his legs.
That was because Sifa had "stolen" his ability to walk.
