Grumbling, Sifa flipped open the Traveler's Gazetteer. In that brief moment, the inky black cloud in the distance had rapidly spread out, taking over more than half the sky.

Thunder rumbled overhead, but there was lightning without rain. Still, the flashes and their sheer momentum were rather terrifying.

Silver-white bolts had already begun falling from the black clouds in the distance. As they struck downward, the lightning continuously branched apart, sketching out tangled, interwoven shapes.

Sifa finally found the page that recorded the mountain where Admiral of Stars was located. Delighted, he had not expected the record left behind during his previous dream to have been preserved. This indirectly proved that dream travel was feasible.

Sifa pressed his hand against the page. By then, his ears were filled with the howling wind, while thunder and lightning grew increasingly frantic, as if they were being driven toward him.

Then, just as he was about to teleport himself away, his vision was suddenly flooded with silver-white light. Not far ahead, a bolt of lightning struck the sea, blasting up a spray of waves.

The bolt split into arcs of electricity, one of which happened to land on the Traveler's Gazetteer in Sifa's hand. The miraculous item he had taken from the dream exploded on the spot, shattering into countless fragments. The fragments burned, rapidly faded, and vanished into the air.

Sifa stared in stunned disbelief.
