The arrow was nearly as powerful as Sifa's earlier Flame Spear. It buried itself deep in Ulyssan's head, cracking the Frost Dragon's scales, which shimmered with a dreamlike radiance, and making him let out an earth-shaking scream.
Pale blue blood welled from the King of the North's forehead, but the fluid froze rapidly as soon as it left his body, making his already ugly head look even more hideous. Ulyssan shook his head wildly as electric currents ran rampant over his body.
The agonizing pain in his head kept Ulyssan from noticing that the "insect" who had badly wounded him earlier, Sifa, was circling behind him and firing an Unclean Bullet-Slowness from Fallen Whisper to hinder him.
Although the bullets might not penetrate Ulyssan's scales, their supernatural effects would take hold as long as they hit. The King of the North's body was so enormous that he was practically a living target. No precise aiming was needed.

Despite his shortcomings in other areas, he repeatedly resisted the effects of the Unclean Bullets. Only after firing five or six shots did Sifa succeed once, suddenly slowing the dragon's movements as he shook his head and struggled to rise.
At that moment, Anderson, known as the strongest Hunter, swiftly formed a blazing white Flame Spear in his hand and hurled it hard at Ulyssan. Though the hindered King of the North tried desperately to dodge, the spear still struck his mouth, rapidly melting his thick ice-crystal scales before burning a hole through his upper jaw.
