Sifa gave Edward a slight nod, then looked at Watt and said something that left Edward and the others utterly dumbfounded. "A fight? That's not a bad idea."
The drink Natalie had just taken into her mouth immediately turned into a rainbow and fell into the bonfire. Frank lowered his head, Quincy remained expressionless, and Edward did not know whether to laugh or cry.
Watt Allred immediately stirred with eagerness. Taking off his coat, he said, "Very good. At least you've got some courage."
But then Sifa added, "However, I'm also in the navy. I'm a soldier too."
"Soldiers don't point their guns at their comrades. If you want to compete, then compete with me on the battlefield."
"As for here, I don't think there's any need."
"Of course, if you're not confident you can beat me on the battlefield, then if you insist, I can accept your challenge here. What do you think, Captain Watt?"
The veins on Watt's forehead immediately bulged. He snorted heavily through his nostrils. "I wouldn't be confident on the battlefield? When I was fighting wars, you were still drinking milk!"
"Fine, I'll wait for you on the battlefield!"
With that, Watt picked up his coat and returned to his side, cursing under his breath.
Only then did Edward breathe a sigh of relief. He pulled Sifa down to sit, and before long, laughter and conversation resumed around the bonfire.
The next day, in the captain's cabin of the Wavebreaker, Sifa received the Sheriff potion. It was for First Mate O'Neill. After handing the potion to Sifa, Ken Angus continued, "There's something I need to inform you about in advance."
"Once the matter of The Black Emperor is over, you'll have to go to the Southern Continent. As for the specifics, we'll discuss them then."
