On Tuesday evening, Sifa arrived at the Sweet Orange Tree Bar with Mr. X and Chik. Through Black Sails' channels, Colonel Alfred had arranged to meet him there that night.
After ordering a cup of black tea with a slice of lemon, Sifa sat in a conspicuous spot at the bar and waited for the colonel to arrive.
Mr. X and Chik spread out to other corners of the bar, drinking or chatting with the drunks while secretly keeping watch over the establishment.
Although Amon had already left, who knew when he might return? Sifa trusted the abilities of Arianna, the Servant of Concealment, but still did not dare let his guard down completely.
Taking the necessary precautions was the key to living long enough. Sifa had no wish to die young.
Before long, his spiritual intuition stirred. He naturally looked up toward the entrance and saw the bar's heavy wooden door being pushed open. A tall, slender figure walked in-a young man wearing a hat and a long trench coat.
His blond hair was swept diagonally back, and his blue eyes resembled a lake beneath a clear sky. His well-proportioned figure exuded an indescribable dignity with every movement. Even without soldiers accompanying him, he carried an inherent air of authority.
Having already read his dossier, Sifa naturally knew that this was his temporary "superior" for the coming days, Colonel Alfred Hall. Judging by his bearing and Sifa's own instincts, the colonel was clearly an Arbiter, and his Sequence was probably not particularly low.
Below demigod level, probably Sequence 6 or even Sequence 5.
After Alfred entered, Sifa saw another man behind him. He had black hair and brown eyes, wore dark clothes, and looked twenty-seven or twenty-eight. This was one of the colonel's subordinates, a capable assistant named Pagney.
