Viscount Dio's face was twisted with rage as he glared at Sifa and his own fiancée. He felt as though the siblings had gone mad. Neither of them showed him the slightest respect!
And now Sifa was walking toward the platform, as though he truly intended to take his sister home.
Before all those guests, Viscount Dio felt as though he could hear an endless barrage of ringing slaps across his face. He tugged at his bow tie and roared, "Mr. Carnet!"
His butler, Carnet, who was also a Sequence 5 Disciplinary Paladin, immediately darted between Sifa and the platform. He raised a hand, pushed forward, and said in a low voice in Ancient Hermes, "Imprisonment!"
Without a sound, the air around Sifa seemed to solidify, turning into transparent walls, an invisible prison. He was the prisoner thrown inside.
Only when he saw Sifa abruptly stop moving did Viscount Dio breathe a sigh of relief. Then, abandoning all noble decorum, he shouted, "How dare you ruin my wedding! You'll pay dearly for this!"
No sooner had he spoken than he saw dark red flames suddenly surge up inside the "prison." The flames, the color of bloodstained rust, instantly spread in every direction, sending tiny cracks through Carnet's "prison."
The next instant.
With a bang, the flames exploded, shattering the "prison" and unleashing a powerful shock wave. The suffocating blast sent the floral arch on the platform flying and knocked the cake to the ground. Ladies screamed and desperately clutched their skirts, while the gentlemen were knocked onto their backsides.
Viscount Dio was no exception.
At that moment, the butler shouted, "Transgressors shall be punished!"
He leaped seven or eight meters into the air and drove a fierce kick downward, striking at Sifa's head amid the flames with an attack that
