After reviewing his abilities, Sifa took out the Crown of Thorns again. Its previously depleted Sea of Light had begun gathering some radiance once more.
Using that radiance, Sifa examined the Sealed Artifact.
In the end, he figured out what abilities the Crown of Thorns possessed.
The Crown of Thorns had simple abilities, and not many of them—only two.
The first used the radiance within the crown to form a blazing spear with terrifying destructive power. Even a Demigod would die instantly if struck by it.
Moreover, the spear could seal off the space around its target, preventing them from escaping through any Teleportation-type ability.
The second ability likewise relied on the radiance within the crown. It maintained a very small safe zone that repelled external attacks. However, the user would also be unable to interfere with or attack anything outside that safe zone.
The former ability was offensive, while the latter was defensive. Both were quite practical.
Coupled with the Sealed Artifact's minimal negative effects, it could be said to offer excellent value.
In the hands of a Demigod or Saint, it would provide an enormous advantage.
Prince Grove had previously used this Sealed Artifact to drive away the Ancient Bane and block the attacks of numerous projections, holding out for quite some time.
If the radiance stored within the Sealed Artifact had not ultimately been exhausted, Prince Grove might even have escaped.
Looking at the crown, Sifa found one of its weaknesses.
Its Sea of Light could not be replenished through external means and could only recover on its own. Thus, if its radiance was used up in a battle, it would become nothing more than decoration.
Even so, it was still highly practical.
After all, its negative effects were minor.
