A New Client Comes Calling

To Odys, the value of Beyonder Weapons had always lain in catching people off guard. That was something ordinary weapons could never match.

For example, the Arrow of Flames he made cost more than an Assault Rifle, yet people would still buy an Arrow of Flames instead of an Assault Rifle.

The reason was simple. A Beyonder could carry an Arrow of Flames out into the streets of Backlund.

But no one would dare walk around with an Assault Rifle on their back!

If someone really did that, they would be arrested before they could make it two blocks.

Even if a battle broke out in the wilderness, the Arrow of Flames could conceal its power better, while someone carrying an Assault Rifle would likely be the first to be killed.

That was the true value of a Beyonder Weapon.

To the other members, the weapons from the "Hermit" were extremely powerful and had fairly broad applications.

After hearing the "Hermit" mention a javelin-shaped Beyonder Weapon, the "Hanged Man" Alger was just about to ask a question when "Justice" Audrey spoke first: "I've seen someone use a weapon like that!"

The "Hermit" Odys smiled. "You mean Lelouch, the person you mentioned before?"

Audrey was slightly taken aback. "Yes, yes."

The "Magician" Fors was confused. Was the "Hermit" the "Leader"? Or Lelouch? Or both?

Odys laughed openly. "I have several regular clients in Backlund. Lelouch is one of them."

Audrey immediately asked, "Where is Lelouch now? He hasn't been caught by the official Beyonders, has he?"
