Odys smiled. "Since we've begun such a 'frank' conversation, could you answer a few questions that have been bothering me before leaving me here forever?"
Fitch sneered. "Don't try to stall for time. Go to the Underworld to find the answers to your questions."
As he spoke, he slightly raised both hands, seemingly well aware that villains tended to talk too much.
Seeing how calm his opponent remained, Odys prepared himself to act.
"Uncle!" Dylan suddenly asked, "Was all of this true? Did you really make my sister die from the curse?"
Fitch said coldly, "If she didn't die, I would have died.
"After I died, she would have died too.
"So it was better for her to die first and buy me three years.
"Once the curse took your life as well, my child would turn ten and be able to block the curse for me."
Dylan's eyes were filled with disappointment. "I always knew you didn't like my sister and me, but you didn't hate us that much, did you?
"Why did you treat us like this?"
