This time, Bernadette and the key members of Dawn of Elements all came to watch the sea trial again.
But this time, they did not need to take a small boat. They could watch from the captain's cabin aboard the new ship.
The raised structure on the deck was the captain's cabin. Its windows had not been installed yet, nor had the floor been laid, so everyone could still see several small Magic Formations on the ground.
Odys reminded them, "Please be careful not to step on the Magic Formations."
Several key members of Dawn of Elements studied the Magic Formations closely, only to discover that they could not understand them at all.
The formations in the captain's cabin were mainly Central Control Ritual Arrays. They controlled the formations on different levels of the new ship so those formations could work together. Without knowing what had been set up on the other levels, no one could hope to understand them.
By the time the tugboat towed the new ship to the harbor entrance, all its Magic Formations had been completed. No floors or wall panels had been installed anywhere, leaving the formations exposed.
The cabins had not been finished either. Only the doorframes and window frames were in place, with no doors or windows installed. It looked rather like an unfinished house.
Once they reached the designated position, Odys blew the whistle around his neck. The scholars stationed at the various Magic Formations infused them with the initial spirituality needed to activate them.
The new ship's formations activated one after another. Bernadette and the others saw faint white lines of light appear across the deck. Some flowed into the ship's new weapons, while others entered the captain's cabin.
Every formation in the captain's cabin, large and small, activated and glimmered
