Odys's words and composure gave Groselle and the others some comfort. As the two enormous doors closed, Odys took a deep breath. "I need to take Groselle's Travels back and study it."

Edwina picked up Groselle's Travels from the desk and handed it to Odys. "Keep it. Consider it payment for rescuing me."

Odys smiled. "Once I get them out, I'll return the book to you. There's something else I'd like your help with."

He looked at Klein. "I remember you mentioned this book. If you want it, why don't you take it as Edwina's payment?

"It's not that I'm giving it to you because I don't want it. I'd very much like to have it myself, but there's something more important I need Vice Admiral Iceberg's help with."

Klein's stern face betrayed nothing. "All right."

His spiritual intuition told him the book was unusual, and he did want to take it back and study it.

Edwina smiled. "In any case, I still need to thank you for your help."

Then she turned to Odys. "What do you need my help with?"

Odys did not answer directly. "Once our current operation is over, I'd like you to visit Krus Island.

"We can discuss it then."

Edwina nodded. "All right."

After taking Klein back to Oravi Island, Odys returned to his workshop aboard the Argo to work out how to free Groselle and the others.

To save time, he brought Groselle's Travels into the Knowledge Moor and researched the problem with the help of two Intelligent Puppets.

After a few simulation experiments, he soon had two ideas. The first was to make Groselle and the others Demi-Gods. Once they possessed Divinity, the laws of the Real World would have to grit their teeth and acknowledge their existence.
