In return, Odys had to give the Church of Knowledge ten percent of the profit from every Spirit-Storage Crystal sold.

Their interests were now deeply intertwined, and they had more or less settled into an arrangement both sides could accept.

In a deal like this one, Odys would approach the Church of Knowledge as soon as he obtained something it needed.
