Odys didn't feel in a rush to leave after seeing Adam depart.

Recalling his recent interaction with Adam, he found that he hadn't felt any tension at all from meeting a King of Angels, leading him to inwardly complain about him one after another.

And all those internal complaints of his should have been "observed" by Adam.

This must have been influenced by Adam, causing his guard to drop and preventing him from reining in his thoughts.

Yet Odys found it a bit hard to fathom: why would Adam do such a thing? Surely it couldn't simply be to listen to his mental complaints?

Then Odys realized that Adam's final words should help him digest the Sequence 3 potion much faster.

Previously, Odys had prepared to spend six to nine months after advancing to Sequence 3 digesting the Mystic Scholar potion. In the worst-case scenario, he would need to "prophesy" the outcome of the divine war to digest the potion.

He knew very well that because he possessed a great deal of hidden history, the Mystic Scholar potion had been digested almost immediately.

However, the Clairvoyant potion couldn't possibly be digested so easily, for potions of these Sequences required a "prophecy" prior to digestion.

Adam's words should allow Odys's "prophecy" to achieve even better results, perhaps even double the effect.

Only, Odys didn't quite understand why Adam had said he had "been a clairvoyant since ancient times."

A clue seemed to exist within his mind, yet just as he was about to grasp it, it slipped away from his fingers once more.

Odys shook his head, temporarily putting the matter out of his mind.

Seizing the opportunity, Klein quickly drank the potion and was now engaged in a mental battle with the Sequence 4-level potion.
