Then she explained, "My Characteristic is currently blocking a passage established by an Outer Deity, who took advantage of the chaos in the War of the Gods Ruins.
"Although that passage can't directly bring power into the Real World, it can still have many effects on it. If we hadn't stopped it in time, many Monsters influenced by the Outer Deity would have appeared in the War of the Gods Ruins.
"It was an emergency, so I could only do everything in my power to stop it. Fortunately, although I died, I managed to seal the passage with my Characteristic, together with the corresponding Magic Formation.
"If you take that Characteristic away, the Magic Formation will lose its source of power, and the War of the Gods Ruins will become extremely dangerous."
Odys considered this for a moment before saying, "I've used Beyonder Characteristics at the Saint level to seal many high-level forms of corruption.
"Could I take a look at the Magic Formation and see whether the Characteristic can be replaced?"
"That would be difficult," Theresa said frankly. "I also know of high-level seals made using a Saint's Characteristic.
"But those seals rely on the Outer Deities not frequently turning their attention toward them."
She paused, then added, "You can go and see whether it's possible to replace it.
"You should understand that if the seal fails, you'll be corrupted immediately. I'm sure you won't do anything foolish."
As she spoke, Theresa raised a hand, and a somewhat illusory map appeared before her and Odys.
"This is a map of the seabed in that area. Follow the markings, and you'll find the seal I made back then."
