Outside the magic formation Odys had set up using the Knowledge Moor's level of power, Bernadette watched her father standing alone on the raised platform, her eyes red with tears. She could barely contain her grief.

At that moment, Emperor Roselle looked more like an old father who had stayed behind at home to see his children off into the world.
