Odys watched Celestial Master and Adam leave one after the other. Only then did he turn into a stream of information and catch up with the Dawn.
By then, the Dawn had sailed some distance from the island, but they could still clearly see a surge of life-filled power rushing into the sky, bound for some unknown destination.
Most of the crew still looked bewildered. They had no idea what had just happened.
The moment Odys stepped onto the deck, Bernadette came forward. "Was that god the Lord of Mysteries?"
She remembered an operation in the Berserk Sea when they had encountered Angels from three churches fighting one another. They had run into Adam afterward.
Odys had summoned a towering presence then. Bernadette had always assumed it was the Lord of Mysteries, but the Celestial Master she had seen today felt entirely different.
