Background / History

Klein accidentally draws Audrey Hall, Alger Wilson, and Aster into the space above the Gray Fog after touching their Crimson Stars. Though initially startled and considering sending them back, he improvises a composed, inscrutable persona, transforms the space into a hall with a bronze table, and accepts “The Fool” as his title. 3

The first gathering develops into the Tarot Club. Klein serves as a witness for transactions, accepts the proposal for regular meetings, and establishes the weekly schedule: every Monday at three o’clock, with members required to remain alone. Sustaining the gathering leaves him spiritually exhausted enough to collapse into deep sleep afterward. 5
