The current head of the Soren Family, "War Bishop" Hiri, sat at the head of a long table. On either side of him sat a middle-aged man with striking red hair.
All three were Demigods and the Soren Family's current public-facing rulers.
Below them sat over a dozen direct descendants and elite members of the family who had developed careers across various fields. Most were already Reapers, with only a few still lingering at the Conspirer stage.
Naturally, the Soren Family also had members serving in the Church of the Eternal Blazing Sun. Some had even become Unshadoweds and risen to the rank of Archbishop, but they no longer belonged to the family's core circle and were not qualified to attend this "supreme meeting" concerning the family's future.
As the family's true ruler, "War Bishop" Hiri showed no obvious emotion on his clean-shaven face. His deep, dark eyes held no visible ripples either, yet everyone who looked at him could sense the excitement in his heart.
