Abner had no attention to spare for Medici's "questioning." He activated the Pure White Eye and examined the guests' Rivers of Fate. Only after confirming that no great calamity awaited them did he breathe a sigh of relief.

Now that Klein's absence has left him empty-handed, has Amon moved on to his next plan? Using the descent of the True Creator's power, for instance, to force the "Fool" to act if he's here?
After all, Amon must have investigated the Fool's organization. He's surely built some sort of profile of Klein.
