Abner already knew Miss Gwen had become a new Pirate Admiral. Recently, he had not only asked Cattleya to ship supplies to Morning Star City, but had also sent goods gathered in Intis aboard Gwen's fleet for delivery to Alvin's new territory in Feynapotter: the Sevia Peninsula on the western shore of Desi Bay.
Miss Gwen was glad to be rid of the nickname Lady Dragon's Might, but she was not particularly happy with her new title, Vice Admiral Dragon Rider. She would have preferred something with the word "Dawnlight."
But among the transformations offered by the Black Throne, besides that embarrassingly revealing Exoskeleton Armor, she had recently developed a Mecha Dragon form. That was how she had earned the title "Dragon Rider"...
Abner suspected Lydia had come up with the name and spread it around, just as she had with Lady Dragon's Might.
Come to think of it, Lydia has advanced to Sequence 6 and become a Potions Professor. Tran drank the Warlock Potion months ago and advanced to Sequence 7.
And with the Black Throne's support, Miss Gwen is considerably stronger than an ordinary Sequence 5. Their fleet really does have the strength to count as a Pirate Admiral's.
More importantly, they have the Sari Family, the Soren Family, and me behind them. That's quite a powerful backing.
As his thoughts turned, Abner found himself reflecting on the state of the seas. Of the seven Pirate Admirals, all but Vice Admiral Dusk, who was backed by the Church of Combat, and the Pirate Admiral supported by the Rose School, whom Cattleya said had already been killed, were now his friends or subordinates.
As for the Pirate Kings, Queen Mystic and the Queen of Stars went without saying. The King of Immortality's ship had become part of his collection,
