Then, with a thought, he used the authority granted to this world's "Abner" by the High-Dimensional Overseer to recreate his body and return him to Xio and Fors.
But this "Abner" was no longer the man he had once been. One of the main world's Abner's Eyes of Wisdom had taken charge of him.
Abner did this partly because he did not want this world's friends to grieve, and partly because he sensed that this Low-Dimensional World might still be of use to him. So he left himself a way back in.
Only then did Abner return to the Salvation Ark, which had sunk to the seabed. He found that the God of Knowledge and Wisdom and the Earth Mother Goddess had both left their vessels. Only the Evernight Goddess remained.
The God of Knowledge and Wisdom's vessel was unstable, while the Earth Mother Goddess's was too weak. Neither had been well suited to bearing the power of a True God. They had mostly played supporting roles in the divine battle, yet their vessels had already reached their limits.
The Evernight Goddess's vessel, the Phoenix Progenitor's Cast-off Body, was far better suited to the task. She remained because there was still something she had to settle.
