Thanks to the tax-free port policy of the past half year or so, residents of Indo, Dillis, and other places had all enjoyed the benefits of "free trade." They no longer harbored any resistance toward the rule of Duke Abner Braine and the Church of Truth, so founding a nation had become a natural next step.
However, what pleased Siltana was not the establishment of the Kingdom of the Ring Sea. Rather, once Indo completely broke away from Feysac, the Church of the God of Combat there would lose its reason to exist, and it could then be directly converted into a Church of the Evernight Goddess.
Her salary and allowances could then return to their normal levels.
As for whether anyone in the Indo church would oppose it, Siltana felt it would not be much of a problem. After all, the truly diehard loyalists had either vanished completely or been exiled to the Northern Region... Those who remained now were all quite adaptable.
"We only need to keep that little chapel in the western suburbs so local believers of the God of Combat have somewhere to attend services. The rest can all change their signs." After thinking it over, Siltana happily took a sip of the Blackland in her hand and continued reading the other reports in the newspaper.
"The Church of the Eternal Blazing Sun claims their Lord is an incarnation of the Ancient Sun God, only to be ridiculed by scholars from many other churches? That has nothing to do with me.
"Empress Sophia II is visiting Morning Star City on a pilgrimage... Tsk, Her Majesty the Empress must be getting anxious. After all, rumors have spread from both Loen and Intis that their empresses intend to personally enter a marriage alliance with Duke Braine... And our
