Klein did not notice the Tower's busy inner thoughts. He reached out his right hand and pressed it against the table, conjuring a portrait of a young man with neatly slicked-back black hair, a broad forehead, and round glasses.

This was Lanevus, one of the masterminds behind the string of incidents in Tingen City.

To Klein, Ince Zangwill was undoubtedly the chief culprit behind the captain's death and his own near-eternal slumber. But the lunatic Lanevus was an accomplice who could not escape responsibility. He had to pay in blood!

Ince Zangwill was already a Demigod and wielded Sealed Artifact 0-08. His strength was terrifying. Klein could not take revenge on him anytime soon; he even had to go out of his way to avoid him...

Thoughts racing, Klein made the portrait flash into view before Miss Justice. He adjusted its angle slightly so Miss Judgment could see it clearly as well.

"Find out what you can about the man in this portrait. He's in Backlund," the Fool said, leaning back in his chair as though it were a casual request.

Audrey studied it. It was a color oil painting, and the man's mocking brown eyes stood out sharply. Beneath the portrait was information including "formerly known as Lanevus."
