Did something happen to The Tower? Or had he entered a place that could cut him off even from this mysterious space above the Gray Fog?
As thoughts raced through Klein's mind, he conjured pen and paper and wrote a divination statement. Then he loosely gripped the crimson "star" in one hand and held the parchment in the other, closed his eyes, and leaned back.
"He's alive... but I can't see what's happening to him...
"He's trapped, isn't he?"
A moment later, Klein opened his eyes. Recalling the results of his divination, he spoke to himself.
That eased his mind a little. Though The Tower was likely a Blessed sent by the Earth Mother Goddess to "invest" in him, he had never done anything to hurt Klein. Instead, he had helped him many times...
To Klein, The Tower was a generous friend, a senior on the Beyonder path who gladly guided others, and an important member of the Fool's Tarot Club. For both personal and practical reasons, Klein did not want anything to happen to him.
But since The Tower is the Earth Mother Goddess's Blessed, it would be more appropriate for that True God to rescue him...
After some thought, Klein considered what he had seen in the crimson "star" symbolizing The Tower. He "opened" the connection to Mr. Moon, who had joined only recently, and asked him to pass a message to Bishop Utravsky:
"Moon Knight is trapped in the mist."
"Moon Knight" was the title The Tower had used under a previous identity. Bishop Utravsky would certainly know who it meant. The Half-giant bishop was also a Blessed and could report the matter to his deity.
*Given Judgment's relationship with The Tower, she'd certainly be more reliable than Emlyn for this... But I don't know what's happening
