With the Funeral Blade and Creeping Hunger, he was confident he could defeat the Pirate Admiral on land.
Instead, a mysterious High Sequence powerhouse had noticed him the moment he disembarked, forcing him to borrow the washroom at the Church of the Earth Mother.
By the time he left the church and reached the meeting place, he discovered that the deal was a trap for the Vice Admiral of Ailment. Worse, the person who had set it was Tracy's mother—a Demoness of Affliction.
A feud between Demonesses would have been one thing. But the Demoness of Affliction clearly intended to take everyone at the hospital where the meeting was being held and sell them as sacrifices. Klein could not stand by and let that happen!
The Demoness of Affliction was powerful, though, and she had several Mid-Sequence subordinates.
However confident Klein was, he did not dare attack head-on. Instead, he summoned his spirit form and had it accommodate the Card of Blasphemy. Using the Demoness's Invisibility, he slipped into the hospital and rescued Tracy. She had survived her terrible fate only by freezing herself with the Sealed Artifact Frozen.
According to her mother, Tracy was to be "educated" into obedience before being offered to that lord.
Their coordination was far from seamless, but they managed to hold off the Demoness of Affliction and her subordinates until the Mandated Punishers arrived. Klein had tipped them off beforehand, of course.
