Inside the ancient, magnificent palace.

Klein smiled and nodded as the members, led by Miss Justice, briefly greeted one another.

He appeared casual, but he paid particular attention to Mr. The Tower. As usual, the man seemed delighted, though Klein had no idea what he was so happy about.

Is he using "happiness" as a disguise, or does he know who I am and feel like laughing whenever he comes Above the Gray Fog? Klein wondered, unable to reach a conclusion.

Once the greetings subsided and everyone was seated, Klein, as the Fool, glanced at Miss Justice. The Psychiatrist immediately understood what he meant and made no move to raise her hand or speak first.

Meanwhile, Audrey's keen eye made her the first to notice the book bound in yellow-brown parchment beside the Fool's right hand.

What kind of book is that? Anything Mr. Fool puts on the table must be at least on the level of a Card of Blasphemy... Who did it come from? What's written in it? Questions raced through Audrey's mind, stirring a curiosity she could barely contain.

The last book Mr. Fool had placed on the table was written by a Sanguine Duke... This one probably wouldn't be any less remarkable!

Alger the Hanged Man, Xio the Judgment, Sharron the Temperance, and the other Tarot Club members soon noticed the yellow-brown book, far more conspicuous than a card. Like Miss Justice, they couldn't help speculating about its origins, level, and contents.

Alger the Hanged Man felt a faint, invisible summons, as though the ancient-looking book were drawing him toward it.
