Ancient Vengeful Spirits were ghostly creatures formed from a jumble of Beyonder Characteristics. Each had a cursed object tied to some part of its body or an item from its life, which combined with those characteristics to form the basis of its existence. That was why their cursed objects took different forms, though they were the same in essence. The dust was a separate characteristic and the source of most of their abilities, while the residual Spirituality was roughly equivalent to materials like a monster's blood.
Seeing the few items left before her, Fors gained a measure of understanding. She looked at Abner, and when he gave a slight nod, she went over and collected the materials one by one.
The three official Beyonders turned a blind eye. They knew perfectly well that defeating such an absurdly powerful Ancient Vengeful Spirit had been almost entirely Abner's doing. The three of them had helped, but they had not been indispensable.
