As his own voice echoed around him, Abner bent down and picked up Abby. He then simulated Dream Traversal and left the Miracle City.
He did not immediately leave the Imaginary World inside Groselle's Travels, though. Instead, he found a city and placed Abby there.
Abby was different from Bianca. After joining the Naturism Sect and becoming a believer in the Mother Tree of Desire, she had stained her hands with the blood of countless innocents. Abner had spared her only because the surviving test subjects might still prove useful.
And since the Mother Tree of Desire had taken an interest in her, imprisoning her in the outside world could easily draw its followers. They might rescue her, or even turn the situation against Abner...
