Abner had a vague suspicion, but no proof yet. He was in no hurry, though. If he was right, the evidence should be inside that space.

With that thought, Abner directed the Eye of Wisdom hidden in the shadows to examine the illusory "sun" closely. He soon spotted a golden wheel of light at its top... the Wheel of Fortune that had slipped inside on its own earlier.

To the wheel's left was a red orb. Its aura felt faintly familiar, and after a moment, Abner recognized it as Zaratul's Historical Projection.

But most of the red projection had already turned black. Even the little red that remained was growing dimmer, as though it were desperately resisting some kind of corruption.

Below the sun lay numerous black spots, some near and some far. The nearest seemed within reach of the Eye of Wisdom, while many of the distant ones were behind the illusory "sun."
