Miss Judy walked arm in arm with Miss "Plant," who looked exactly like her. Licking the complimentary ice cream the cinema had handed out on their way out, she excitedly said to her mother, Closia, who walked beside them:
"Mom... Abner is incredible! How did he estimate all those precise figures for the whirlpool, then calculate the minimum escape speed and the best angle?"
Closia was at a loss for words. Abner really had intended to do the calculations at the time, but he had soon given up because he thought there was no need...
Still, the matter might affect the success of the ritual, so Closia did not expose the lie. Instead, she answered vaguely:
"Abner used a few tools..." (Such as me.)
"And a few methods..." (Such as distorting the ship's weight.)
"That was how he pulled the Laurel out of the whirlpool. The film left those parts out to highlight his 'wisdom.'"
Judy understood, but she still said admiringly, "Even so, he's amazing. If it were me, I'd probably ask you to turn into a Dragon and drag the ship out."
Good. It seems you and Abner have a lot in common... Closia was about to say something when her expression suddenly shifted. She reached into the void and took out a letter.
Judy hurriedly activated Spirit Vision, but all she saw was an eight-legged Magic Wolf entering the Spirit World and vanishing.
Judy recognized the Magic Wolf Spirit. She knew it was Abner's Messenger. After they had obtained the Blue Sawtooth Grass, her mother had sent it to Abner through this little fellow.
"What did Abner say in the letter?" Judy asked curiously when her mother lowered it.
"He's successfully advanced to Demigod...
