A quarter of an hour earlier, Afternoon Town within the Nightmare.
When Abner arrived at the church Derrick and the others had entered in reality, what he saw was an entirely different scene.
A magnificent, brightly lit church, The Tower, intact and classical, three priests kneeling in confession... scenes completely different from reality appeared before his eyes one after another.
Relying on the protection of the "Secrecy Barrier" around him, Abner used the "Pure White Eye" to carefully search the place right in front of the three priests.
Very quickly, he discovered that the church was filled with the aura of "Fallen" and "filth," both of an extremely high level. Their source was The Tower beside the church.
But after circling the tower several times, Abner found no way inside. Its surroundings were engulfed by dense powers of "Fallen" and "shadow," making it impossible to approach. Even the "Secrecy Barrier" around him rippled whenever it came into contact with those powers.
Can't force my way in! Abner immediately made his judgment. Then, with the help of the illusory "All-Seeing Eye" in the "Land of Unknown," he enhanced his "Analysis" ability and began observing The Tower comprehensively and meticulously.
A moment later, he came to a realization and mused inwardly:
So that's how it is... Although The Tower and the Weirdness of Afternoon Town exist within the same layer of Nightmare, it hasn't left behind any passage for entering or leaving... Or rather, The Tower has been completely sealed off by the "Dark Angel" himself!
Hmm, He probably doesn't know about the teleportation passage built by the "God of Luck"... He sealed this place off because He likely didn't want the lingering aura of Sefirah within to contaminate the believers.
