Dawn gasped in surprise.
Though this was not her first encounter with Mesprit, she had never expected finding a Mythical Pokémon to be this easy.
Mythical Pokémon usually avoided people, after all!
Baimu was equally surprised. They had searched day after day without any results, yet now it had delivered itself right to them?
"Mesprit!"
Mesprit called softly. Only when it came close did Dawn notice that there seemed to be something behind it.
Baimu saw it too. "A Pokémon Egg?"
A strange premonition suddenly rose within him.
Sure enough, once Mesprit approached him, it solemnly presented the Pokémon Egg it had been guarding with its tail. "Mesprit!"
Seeing that Baimu did not reach out, Dawn gently nudged him. "Hurry up and take it, Baimu!"

Baimu stared at Mesprit, which was holding up the Pokémon Egg with psychic power. "Is this Goodra?"
Aside from that one that had been hopelessly entangled with Hydreigon ever since the Hisui era, he could not imagine why Mesprit would offer him a Pokémon Egg for no reason.

But Baimu stubbornly held up his hands and refused to take it. Mesprit anxiously circled around him, and seeing that he continued to ignore it, it could only sigh mournfully.

The Red Saint gave in. "Mesprit! Mesprit!"
Baimu immediately asked his living translator, "What did it say?"
But the Porygon Phone seemed to have crashed.
