"Diantha! You performed brilliantly in this match, especially the battle between Mega Gardevoir and Rillaboom! But are you unwilling to accept the outcome?"
A barrage of questions was thrown out, and the Team Rocket trio was among the reporters.
Their primary target was Leon.
Before the match, Jessie had clearly been displeased with Diantha, yet afterward, she acted as though she were looking for trouble with Leon, asking tricky questions that made James and Meowth break out in cold sweat.
Fortunately, the two of them were quick-witted enough to shove Jessie aside. Otherwise, who knew what kind of broadcast accident she might have caused.
"Idiot! What were you doing?!"
After the interview, James scolded her. "What if something had happened? How would we explain it to Baimu?"
Jessie turned her head away and pouted. "I know I was wrong! I just didn't like the look of that guy, that's all."

Meowth scratched his head helplessly.
It could probably understand Jessie's thoughts. Seeing Diantha give it everything she had and still fail to defeat Leon had reminded her of herself—no matter how hard she tried, she would always miss out on becoming a female celebrity.
It was pretty ridiculous, right? But that was just Jessie's impulsive personality.
They were neither here nor there these days, and they really couldn't blame anyone else. They simply loved courting disaster.
After the interview segment ended, the morning's matches came to a close.
The Masters Eight Tournament only held around two rounds a day, leaving the Champions ample time to prepare and rest.
