Before long, Steelix reached the area near Meteor Falls.

Once Baimu noticed, he promptly ordered Steelix to fly higher, worried Officer Jenny might come after him again.
Luckily, the area around Meteor Village seemed to be outside Officer Jenny's jurisdiction.
"That was close. I almost got hauled in for a chat."
He hopped down in front of the familiar cave entrance and patted one of Steelix's enormous teeth.
"Roar?"
Steelix didn't understand a word.
"Hah... Of course you don't. Anyway, thanks for the effort. Take a little rest." Baimu thanked Steelix. He'd meant to bring Steelix over for some bonding time, but looking back, it felt more like he'd called himself a flying taxi.
He'd give Steelix a proper treat tonight.
He recalled Steelix into its ball and headed into Meteor Falls.
After coming here two or three times, he'd naturally memorized the route. Getting lost would be difficult now. Stranger still, the Wild Pokémon no longer ran when they saw him. At most, they glanced his way before going back to whatever they were doing.
"Can they see a Draconids title floating above my head or something?"
Baimu pondered that for a few seconds, then dismissed the absurd thought.
Maybe they remembered his scent.
As he passed the roaring Dragon Gate Falls, Shiny Feebas's Poké Ball trembled twice, as though Shiny Feebas wanted to come out and challenge it again.
"Don't rush. Get some
